                 WHAT WE DO

COACH

  • We volunteer as coaches for local at-risk youth soccer leagues 

  • We hold practice once a week with drills and training. Once a month we arrange games with other youth leagues in the area so  that participants can practice the skills they’ve learned.

TUTOR

  • We volunteer as English tutors for students who are in the local soccer leagues.

  • We teach weekly English language classes where students practice conversational speaking and writing to better prepare them for university.

DONATE

  • We collect, distribute and donate new and used soccer equipment as well as school supplies to our network of four organizations and schools across Costa Rica.

  • Our network includes: Educacion Plus in Pavas and San Felipe, Rio Azul Escuela de Futbol de Saprissa, Obandito School in Playas del Coco and Balon sin Humo in San Carlos.

FORM
RELATIONSHIPS

  • Each time we visit a school to make a donation or volunteer as league coaches, we take the time to get to know the youth that we are working with.

  • From playing a game of fútbol to hearing their stories, one of the best parts about Tacos4Ticos are the friendships formed.
